WebEx is Cisco's online meeting center where users can share ideas, documents, presentations, and applications.
Features
Webex has features such as integrated voice conferencing which allows you to talk to more than just one other person. Meetings can also be recorded so that those that miss a meetings can re-watch the meeting and make sure they didn't miss anything. Up to six webcams can be streamed at one time. Cisco provides a great security for your business meetings. Users can share and edit community spreadsheets, word documents, presentations, etc... Smartphones can also be used to participate in meetings.
Price
The cost to use WebEx is $49/month for their minimum 25 person plan. There are offers that let you meet with up 500 persons.
Intended Users
Webex is designed to be used in education to train staff or stay in contact with students. In financial services to possibly help roll out financial products fasters. It can be used in healthcare to provide a more productive and secure communication. High tech users can use Webex to stay in contact with team members and customer support lines, and also help meet the critical deadlines that the industry has.
