What is Talkr
Talkr is a website that transforms the text from blogs into speech. This enables a user to listen to the text rather than read it. Talkr gives users the ability to add blogs to their list of conversions and download the resulting files as podcasts.

Uses in Education
Talkr can be used to provide audio files from text blogs that might be assigned as student readings. This system can make more material easily accessible to visually disabled students.
