About Enjoy! Everywhere

Enjoy!Everywhere is an easy and free tool that can help you find places of interest and events all over the world. The site organizes shared content by geographical location and delivers results based on searches of those areas. Enjoy! Everywhere (www.enjoyeverywhere.com) is the first multi-channel international project on paper and online that provides info about events and activities in 21,000 cities in 240 countries worldwide. It is a geo-referenced aggregator of web content relating to nightlife, entertainment, travel; a proper lifestyle guide that manages data created by dozens of vendors by using a rather advanced technology: API (application program interface). Enjoy! Everywhere wants to help you live better in the city you’re in or the city you want to be in. It can put your finger on the pulse in each city to help you understand the spirit of the people who inhabit it. It provides tips and real-time information on: the hottest events happening or upcoming in music concerts, theater, cinema and art; the best bars, clubs, restaurants and shops found in the selected city with addresses, reviews & photos; tips on how to move around the city; the must-see points of interest in local art museums, galleries, parks and landmark architecture.

Enjoy! Everywhere is an entertainment startup changing the world by discovering things to do in your town and sharing them with the whole world online, on paper and soon on mobile.

History

Enjoy!Everywhere was created by Never Mind Media Srl. in Milan, Italy to help people enjoy the cities that they live in, work in and visit more thoroughly. The site began as a way for people in Rome and Milan to share events and social functions.

Enjoy! Everywhere is morphing and changing constantly as it is still in its infancy as a Beta system. Recently an application was launched for Apple mobile products named Enjoy! Rome.

Enjoy! Everywhere uses Google maps to locate the user and offer events happening in his or her area.

Capabilities

Enjoy!Everywhere is a source of events or venues that choose to make their presence known on the worldwide web. Concerts, stage shows, expositions, open houses, release parties, and learning opportunities are all included.

Specific items on the page include: 

 -Interactive Map of the Area Provided by Google Maps
 -Listing of Events by Relative Date to The Current Day
 -Week-long Forecoast of the Weather for the Area
 -Listings of Bars, Restaurants, Clubs, Shopping, and Movies
 -Also has Information on Flights, Hotels, Hostels and a Travelguide
 -Tweets Pertaining to the Happenings in the Area

Enjoy! Everywhere is still in its infancy but is growing quickly. Current listings are somewhat limited as the company refines its filtering and recognition software. Searches for places like Rome, London, and New York are robust and give the user many options on a given date and in a given place. Filters for location are still being developed which leads to errors in location like events at Kansas State University in Manhattan, KS and Central Park in Manhattan, NY appearing in the same query.

Enjoy! Everywhere even has the capability of compiling tweets and other social media shared within or about the place of interest. Artists, event organizers and regular people share their social plans and give feedback on events in the area.

For the entertainment industry, the benefits are obvious. On Enjoy! Everywhere a venue would be capable of advertising its concerts, restaurants and amenities all in real time and give the public the chance to do some of the marketing for them by sharing on the World Wide Web. People are more likely to attend an event when others are excited and commenting on or tweeting about.

This would be a perfect tool to investigate where to take a business partner or customer to dinner. For example, if a customer prefers to eat sushi you could find the nearest sushi place or a restaurant with a special atmosphere or event going on that evening.
